What is the Corrosion Search Engine - CSE?

The Corrosion Search Engine is a Search Engine Based on a tool of Google, the "Custom Search Engine". It's Customized  Search Engine that makes Search only on a selected number of site dedicated to Corrosion Science & Corrosion Control.

How doest it works

It works like all the search engine, just type your searched phrase or words and make your search. In the page with the results you'll see the Refinements. These are words that allow you to restrict your search to the most relevant Sites dealing with that particular Refinement.For examples if you select "NACE PAPERS" you'll see only results that show Nace Papers on that issue.

Why should you use the CSE?

The main important feature of the CSE is that it will make the searches only on selected sites, not on the entire web, this will give you more "targeted" results that a normal search. Also with the Refinements you can give priority to the sites that are more importants for that particular argument / topic. The CSE will give you firstly the results from the selected sites and after of the entire web.

Add the CSE to your Google Toolbar

You can add the a CSE Button to your Google Toolbar. When the Button is installed you can go to the Corrosionist Website by clicking on the CSE Button or you can make a Search with the Corrosion Search Engine from your Google Toolbar. Click on Add to Google Toolbar on the Homepage of this site.
