how to make metal rust?

Rust is the name of a number of different oxides Fe2O3 (red), Fe3O4 (black) that form as the consequence of the Corrosion process of Iron.

Iron will rust if exposed to water; it can be condensing water (humidity) from the atmosphere or seawater or freshwater.

If you want to rust iron faster you have to
immerse iron in water, or better water with some sodium chloride.
