Question: Which stainless steel is suitable for sulfuric acid less than 2% concentration at  temprature 100 oC?  We use sulfuric acid in ethyl actete production process as a cattalysis?

Answer: At this concentration Stainless Steel could be used but the temperature is very high. If you look at the isocorrosion curves you'll see that the corrosion rate is below 5 mpy. High nickel alloy like Hastelloy C276 will have higher corrosion resistance. The materials selection depends also on the type of item, vessel, piping..., and the fluid velocity since corrosion rate is also a function of the velocity of the fluid.
