Who Discovered Nickel?

     

                                               

Who Discovered Nickel

Nickel was discovered by a Swedish chemist, Axel Fredrik Cronstedt in 1751.

During and attempt to extract copper from a mineral called niccolite he got a silvery-white metal, instead of the copper.

The new metal was named Nickel after the mineral name of the mineal niccolite.
